Head Chef

David Higgs has been a chef in South Africa for 18 years and travelled extensively as part of the South African national Culinary Team. From being voted “Chaine des Rotisseurs "Young Chef of the Year” to representing SA at the Culinary Olympics. David heads up the young team of  chefs to enable you as guest to enjoy the freshest ingredients and daily changing menu. John Shuttleworth and Adriaan Maree join David in the kitchen and Minette Smith looks after our pastry.

Neil Grant returns to South Africa after seven years in San Francisco. The education he received while studying through The Court of Master Sommeliers has allowed him to continually strive to bring our guests the ultimate wine and food experience.

Andrea Lombard joins him as part of the front of house team, having gained valuable experience working in various Relais & Chateaux establishments home and abroad.
