Gold at Young Wine Show

“At the recently held South African Young Wine Show Competition, our newly appointed Rust en Vrede wine maker, Ettienne Malan, received a gold medal for his 2005 Shiraz. This is the first time Ettienne has entered one of his wines into a competition and we look forward to tasting the finished product.” August 2005

Bronze in San Francisco

“At the recently held annual San Francisco International Wine Competition, our 2001 Estate received a bronze medal. This wine is a Cabernet dominated blend with 30% Shiraz and 10% Merlot.” August 2005
